slight play in my front passenger side wheel

hi all, just jacked the car up and noticed on the front passengee wheel hs quiet a bit of play in it, when i moved the wheel forwards and back its the wheel and the disc that moves, any ideas? wheel bearing maybe?

hi sounds like it but just check nut it may have come loose but i doubt it .

Wheel moves left-right or up-down? If its left-right but not up-down, then it could be a steering component, eg worn track rod end, rack, or rack-body mount loose, or steering UJ.

If its up down (as well as left-right) then it is probably the wheel bearing. Sure, check the nut is tight as it would be a gift if that were all! But it would be rare (you never know with old cars though) to work loose, they're normally uber-tight!

up and down, left and right! if itsthe wheel bearing are they press fit in oe just push in?
