running brakes inside car question (few pics added)

hi im going to start to gather parts togethor to put new brake lines on my mk1 gti but the previous owner had ran them through the car as it was a track car,as im not to good with the correct names of parts please bear with me  :redfaced:
the old brake lines are still there and appear to be brand new but there are gaps of about 3 inches in some places where they have been cut and something has been removed,could anyone tell me what would have been removed and where i could buy replacements from as i want to run the lines through the car too, any help/advise is more than welcome  :mrgreen:

Could be anything really, but the gti has a little ball valve in each rear brake line, usually under the master cylinder down the bottom, or could it be something to replace the rear restrictor assuming its not in its usual place.

it was running a 1.8 16v if this helps? is the rear restrictor the things thats at the back of the car tucked away? ill upload some pics tomorrow if it will help as ill be working on the car tomorrow?

probably a bias valve for the rear adjustment or a line lock  and a t piece thurther back splitting to both rear brakes.
if that line comes straight from the mc and straight to the rear brakes id suggest an adjustable bias valve,

hi,theres 1 brake line coming from the mc and would have split into a t junction like you said,theres no rear brake compensator at the back,so does that mean i could just re do what is already there? ie:replace the lines for new add a bias valve and t junction and thats it? sorry not good with brakes  :redfaced:
