Rumbling/grinding noise when warm

I 've got a rumbling, gratey sound of noise when cars warmed up coming from engine bay. It goes when the clutch is pressed in. I was thinking input shaft on gearbox??? Ideas please.

Sounds like release bearing for the clutch , i would not panic .

Can soldier on for years like that . Eventually you would replace this when the clutch requires replacement , check gearbox oil level though .

Just put a new clutch in a couple if weeks ago…also put in a replacement gearbox - it was second hand but seemed fine. I'll check the oil level. Anything else it could be?

Might be bearings then  :dontknow: 2nd hand boxes can be a minefield .
