Rolling the wheel arch?

Hi, running 205/45/17 with a 40mm dropp. wanting to roll the wheel arches cos the tyres are getting cutt into by the wheel arch. can anyone explain how this is done.?

In essence all your doing is bending the lip of the arch back up,you can buy a tool to do this which bolts on to your hub and rolls the arches but its very expensive

or you could use a hammer and dolly to gradually bent it up.Best bet is to go to a bodyshop as theyll do its for maybe ?30 an arch and if theyre any good wont crack the paint in the process so you wont have to worry about rust etc in the future.Just make sure they seal the arch when they roll it back,otherwise water gets trapped and your arched will rot to bits!

Just done my rear with a hammer and dolly. Did chip a bit of paint from the edge though but not bothered as it needs a full respray anyway.

Car can now sit on the bumpstops at the rear without any tyre / arch contact.
