replacing avo adjustable shocks with cheaper alternative????

Due to MOT failure i need to change these shocks on a budget, but hard to find original macpherson struts to replace,

can anyone suggest any alternatives ??
demon tweeks have been no help at all !

im not sure, how would you go about it ? theyr leakin oil etc

It you want to get new front struts then go to VW. They aren't that expensive and the insert comes with them.
Springs are expensive from them so you'll probably want to get these from somewhere like GSF.
C&R do some weitec kits for cabrios which are supposed to be good
