Rear brake hose replacement

Did the front hoses this afternoon - nowhere near as difficult as I thought it would be (took me two weeks and two tow trucks on my mk2 which is 7 years younger!) to swap to nice braided Goodridge hoses (mmm…shiny…)

Had a look at the back of the car but how in the name of all that is good and holy will I be able to do those?  There's no room to swing the proverbial cat and, since I don't have a pit in my driveway, am I going to have to take it to the pros?

Easily done - if you drop the axle around 3-4 inches!!!!

That's a genius guide - I particularly like the idea of sliding another nut on there to stop me shearing them…I have a habit of doing that…

Didn't search hard enough I guess!

However I think I will save this pleasure for another day…I'm bushed!

So just to check…

Are these the bolts I need to undo on both sides to drop the axle?
