Rear beams

Hi

I want to fit an anti roll bar to the rear beam of my 1984 1.1c, is the beam the same as a gti or are their minor differences which would mean I could not fit an anti roll bar?
I am planning on an engine swap with a 16 valver, do you think I need an anti roll bar? everything else is being uprated so I thought I better fit a roll bar, what do you think?

in my experience a bigger rear antiroll bar makes such a difference. a standard one would be good though.
im not sure if beams are different though

beams are the same shape, but you might have to drill a hole for the inner mounts:
