quick tyre size Q (14" Pslots)

i have a set of P slot wheels which i wanna fit to my mk1, but they came withe no tyres, what is the correct width of tyre for em???
they are the 14" ones, the reason i ask is that a set of 195x60/14's have come up cheap, anyone know if they would fit straight on?? my guess is they are slightly too wide, what you think???

They should be 185s but you can get away with 195s no problem.

i'm going to go for 195/45/14s on my Cups when I get them back.  Am thinking low profiles on tehese and at some points get another set (ie the P-slots) in a more std size for winter etc. 8)

Stock would have been 185 60 14 this will also help in keeping the speedo reading as accurately as it can  

i found on full lock you get rubbing on the inner wings with the 195 60 14.
