POwer Sterring

I want to have PAS in my MK1 it is possible? If anybody can help and explain from which car is fine

My cabby has power steering which was fitted before I bought it. Initially I had problems with the pump making an awfull whining noise. Ive now replaced with a pump off a mk2 gti. The pump sits underneath the water pump held in place by a bracket which bolts onto the engine. As for the rack ive no idea what its off, i'm hoping it is also offa mk2 as i'm sure at some point it will need replacing.

i'll get some piccies up when I can of the pump and rack. Other than that I aint much help sorry
