polo gt breaks, will they fit?

have a polo gt which i am breaking, just wondered if the breaks will fit on a mk1 golf and will they have enough/any more stopping power than standard 1.3 breaks before i attempt to sell them?

afaik yes and yes, (if not someone will correct me,) i fitted the non-vented off a standard mk3 polo and they did make a tremendous difference!  Gt's are better still.

You may find the pedal travel is a lot further though without changing to the bigger master cylinder and vacuum servo.

so i guess if i use my gt mastercyliner and vac servo it shud be ok ?

no you need the mk2 16v items i believe. the guide is under brake upgrade to your left in technical!!!
