Pagid Fast road

I have read that some of you use Pagid Fast Road pads on your front discs. Wondering how they have performed for you.
I have been told that they are very aggressive on the rotors, and produce lots more black dust than the genuine pads do. Is this your experience?

I had pagid fast road pads and zimmerman drilled discs on my old gti and it made a great difference.

The discs were not expensive either at ?50 a set, not sure how many Aus dollars that is.

I did not notice any more brake dust than when i had the standard discs and pads in.

I only paid ?30 for mine at international a few years back!

Makes a HUGE difference but I think it does produce more brake dust, but that would be down to the drilled discs cutting at the pad more…

Thanks guys.
I understand the black dust is more from the rotors than the pads. Sounds like the trade off in rotor wear is worth it in your opinions. Will just have to wash the car more if I go down that road.
What about noise - did the Pagid Fast Roads squeal?

Thanks for your feedback

They sound like they are greating a little (sometimes with a squeak) until you have used the break a couple of times and warmed them up. litterally only needs a few presses. By the time I get to the bottm of my road, negotiated the roundabout and come to a set of lights about a 3/4 mile from my house, mine are normally fine.

Just dont expect them to bring the car to a halt from 40MPH the first time you use the brakes any day!
