No 1st or 2nd

Hello,

I have just picked up a nice little GX with a 2.0L 16v engine in her, few things wrong with her but nothing major, main one at the minute is i can not engage 1st or 2nd. Any ideas?

What gearbox is it running, cable or hydraulic ?

One of the linkage rods has come off, look at the linkage on top of the gearbox to see if one is missing or just hanging there not attached to anything. You can buy new ones
