new wishbones

i'm gonna be fitting new wishbones and ball joints bushings top mounts and coilovers soon

question is… do i have to disconnect the drive shafts to put on the new wishbones?  read the haynes manual ( sometimes that thing confuses me or makes me loose confidence in what i wanna do), it says that the driveshafts need disconnecting.

if someone knows better than the haynes manual then please let me know  cheers

no the driveshafts can stay connected. just one bolts into the chassis the the nut and bolt connected the balljoint to the hub and the wishbone is off. or 2 more if u have antiroll bar.

I saw Jseamans guide on the front end , had a look at that last night, is so cool that people can be so into taking photos and helping other peoplelike me out.

The way I see what I read and seen so far is that the Driveshaft only disconnects at the hub side.  I would say that if I leave it in gear this will stop it from rotating gearbox side when up in the air.
