New Rear Brakes, but no handbrake

holla!
Ive just replaced the rear brakes, drums, shoes, cylinders, bearings, springs and cables.
Ive run the handbrake cables but theyre about an inch too short, so they dont reach the hook on the handbrake.
There is no movement in them what so ever.
Any ideas??

lol. nope, ive got a feeling im gonna have to take the drum off and have a butchers.

You should have connected with a couple of threads with the 10mm nuts on brakehandle cable inside first, then attach them onto the drum mech etc.
