Mk3 springs on mk1?

Hi!
Is it possible to fit Springs (Front and rear) from golf mk3 on golf mk1?
Because I can't find springs from mk1 in good conditions.
Or if anyone can suggest something else.

Why are you struggling, whereabouts are you located and where have you tried etc? Can you import something from Germany or UK?

I'm from Macedonia, I can import from Germany but the price for shipping will be high.
I live in Skopje here I can buy used spring but they will be in poor condition like mine.
The rear spring on my car need to be replaced, do you have any suggestion?
I found H&R springs from mk3 (lowering 35 or 40mm) what is different from the mk 1 springs (the length or mounting diameter)?

Well, if you need them and you can't get them in Macedonia then you have no other option but to import them!

Mk3 springs WILL NOT work. They are different size and completely different rate, the Mk3 weighs about 1400kg and the Mk1 about 800kg. Too significant to ignore, even if the diameter and length was the same.
