mk2 golf 16v master cylinder reservoir bottle

Just about to replace the original driver servo and m/c for the golf 16v item. So far i've sourced the servo and just bought a brand new 22mm 4 port m/c.

My next task is to get hold of a reservoir bottle as i haven't got one. I've tried searching gsf and eurocarparts but doesn't seem to list one. I know i could go down the scrappy but tbh i'd rather just by i brand new one? anyone know where you can get these new? would vw still be able to get hold of these?

They're pushing on £30 though, you do get bottle and cap for that though!

£30! jeez, seen as though im on a budget i'll keep my eyes peeled in the scrap yards and on ebay.

Are there any differences between 8v and 16v?

nope. doesnt even have to be a GTI one, all rhd MK2 reservoirs are same. its also fitted to newer dubs, MK3s & Corrados, its even on very late polos and SEATs, my girlfriends 2000 1.4 Ibiza has the MK2 22mm master cylinder and reservoir on it
