mk2 drive shaft+ fit mk1??
Hi, new member here, i have a mk1 Golf cabriolet 1.8 GLI and am trying to replace the cv joints, but i can't get hold of any as they are obsolete! i've been told that my car is a bit rare as it maybe on a cross over year? i now want to replace the drive shaft and hubs and am also having the same problem. begs the question, will a MK2 drive shaft hub and cv joint set fit a MK1 1.8 GLI cabriolet?? If there's anyone out there in the know, it would be very much appreciated if you could get in touch. Thanks.

It will depend on Chassis number/year.
GLi ? What year?
My '87 GTI uses Mk2 bits, Volksline of Canterbury (01227 767958) got them for me, but don't know where from. GSF ?
