mk1 golf gear box

i have recently put a golf 16v mk2 gearbox in my car and was wondering what clutch cable to use???? do i use a mk2 16v clutch cable or do i use a normal mk1 gti clutch cable???? any help would be appreciated thanks!

Boxes are prety much the sam so a MK1 5Spd Clutch cable should be fine..
