Mk1 golf braking
Would it be possible to scrap the brake master cylinder and the bar that runs across the back of the bay for something a bit nicer? Maybe just have it on the drivers side (right) straight out of the bulk head.
I know you can get brake bias boxes with the reservoirs inside the car, but there expensive and im looking for a cheapish option that wont ruin the feel of the brakes.
Has this been done before and does anyone have any info on how it effects the braking.
Cheers guys.

You can do it if you don't mind running without a servo as you 'simply' fit an early non servo master cylinder on the drivers side..
would this effect the braking? or just the feel of the brakes.
Could i make a DIY servo of some sort to make the braking feel more alive?
Cheers for your help.
