Mk1 Caddy NS Track Rod, had 2 different types but wont work?

Really need some help guys,

Put my VW Mk1 Caddy in for MOT and it failed on the track rod end. Well the track rod would not come apart with heat, elbow grease or anything, so I need a new Track Rod and Control Arm.

The garage have ordered 2 types listed for my car, trouble is neither fit! They won't allow to adjust the track rod to align the car, the nearest it will go is '20' on the laser alignment tool?

The only difference on the car is that it has a mk2 1.6TDi engine in it?

Need help massively as its taking up there ramps and it Can't be Re-Motd as it is?
