mk 1 brakes

hi just joined  i've got a 83 mk1 gti it's been in a garage for seven years ,it's coming out tomorrow so i can get it back on the road again   .i want a new servo master cyl for it which is best  mk1 bits or been told can use mk2 any advice please  cheers
