Lotus Eclat Alloys - how will they fit? too much poke? help
Come across the chance to get a set of Lotus Eclat alloys for £200 with 185/55/14 nnangkang fitted.
I think they are roughly ET 15-19 but not too sure.
I'm running coilovers at the moment on my clipper. Just wondered if they will poke out too much, and if those 185/55's would be any good to me or if it will catch the arches. I have a set of 195/45/14 from my pslots… would i be able to put those on the eclats?
Also im gonna need adaptors to convert 4x114.3 to 4x100… any suggestions on where to get them?
Any help or advice would be great.
Cheers,
Mus

What it the size of the wheel? It does depend on the width I.e ?x14.
I have 7x15 wheels with a et20 and the fronts are inline with the lip of the front wing arch and the rears are 15mm inside. I run 165/50/15 and the fronts don't catch with the suspension lowered to as you see in the pic. Bearing in mind your adapters will push the wheels out further (every mm of adaptor is a et less) you will not get 185's and no chance of 195s. To fit them you would need to shortened the width of the whole steering and rear beam. You could see how much of the wheel at the hub could be removed but they don't usually have much to remove!
Hope that helps…kind of!

Width of the wheel is 14x7.
Ahh that sucks that I'll basically have to go and get new tyres for it. If the tyres where the right size then id be snapping up a bargain, but ill be left with 4 tyres that are pretty much no good to me. I thought I'd have to get 165's on it.
Really undecided right because by the time that I get the adaptors and tyres itll push the price close to £450ish
