linkage prob HELP PLEASE!

well yeh i have just replaced all the bushes and rod on my cabby and is all back together…..but i dont seem to have reverse. if i push it for reverse i get first all the gears seem to be in the wrong place somehow.

any ideas cheers

Yes, replace the rod with the 2 plastic cup ends which fit to the ball linkage located next to the gearbox.
The plastic cups are probably broken and therefore slipping on the ball.

Not too sure how to explain it properly but I recently replaced that.

yeh all the bushes and rods are brand new and on. had found the prob i think. the clamp where the splinned rod from te gearstick clamps into was not grapping it as it should so there was alot of play but have replaced that using my donar car and i have all my gear in all the right places now so i think it has cured it touch wood
