knock knock knock

Hi
I just went for a lengthly drive and noticed really strong knocking from the underneath somewhere. It's hard to tell exactly.  The engine runs perfect, gears great, brakes OK. The noise seems to decrease or disappear when breaking or accelerating. It is most noisy when coasting, (clutch in) or just slowing down without brake. I really didn't think I'd get home but I made it.

I read the post 'knock knock' but this seems a bit different. Any ideas would be great.
 :D
cheers

I had the same noise, turned out to be loose wheel bolts

does the noise seem to happen more if your on a bumpy surface i had the same sort of noise turned out to be the top mounts on my front shocks. there was about a 1cm gap between the rubbers and the upper plate on them.
