Now then 'how low can you go' on 7 x 15 think ther et25?mite have sum rims en route?? wot tyres etc… cheers j

Just posted this info on another thread, may help you out.

A standard golf is 360mm from arch to wheel centre, GTI 340mm. I was reading the other day any anything under 280mm is as low as you should go for good handling and a BEARABLE ride.

Also with a 7x15 rim you have clearance probs if its not ET35

This info was found in GOLF+ magazine Nov 05 'Ask the Brain' IMO a good mag with lots of detailed info.

No experience of cold air box!!

PS I put Toyo Proxies T-R on my golf 195x50x15's but only done 14miles so far, you can also put on 45 profile for more clearance if dropping lower but the tyres do cost more :cry:
