How can I improve braking efficency?
Just had car back from MOT and my braking efficency is 64% which doesn't sound great to me, breakdown is:
Fronts - 74%
Back - 49%
Parking brake - 21%
Brakes are preety much all new with 280mm conversion using vauxhall calipers and g60 discs with braided hoses, rears and rear disc conversion with mk4 calipers and handbrake cables are pretty much new as well!
With that set up I would've thought the efficency would be a lot better than that, any ideas how I can improve that or if that efficency sounds about right?
He also put an advisory on that the front discs were binding slightly when turned by hand!
Thanks
Drew

I thought it needs to bed in which would account for the binding on the front discs

Did you replace the brake fluid with new and completely bleed the system when you did the upgrade?
