Help removing complete tie rod

Having trouble removing the complete tie rod. I can see where it undoes but just can't force the joint apart. Does anyone have any tips to removing this?

The tie rod i don't think has ever been changed, as the tie rod end is fixed and can't be removed separately. So I'm assuming this is a standard part?

Any ideas for getting this off would be great!

Undo the lock nut and a crow foot spanner and long extension should do it

wd40
large spanners plus extension bars
plus lots of swearing.

Grind it off. It doesn't matter if you damage the thread of the bar (although its worth trying not to, too much) so long as the damage is only to a small part of its circumference.
