Help needed on identifying brasking system

Hi all
We own a 1989 clipper cabriolet (1.8 carb model), and the brake hoses need changing before its MOT. I phoned a parts company, and was asked 'is the braking system Girling or Lucas?'

I've checked the calipers, and the servo, and can find no way of identifying who's made them. I did, however, look at the front brake pads. They are a more rounded shape (what I'd call a standard brake pad shape) rather than square pads. Does anyone have any ideas?

tell them its the mk2 type,that will sort them out,

I told them its a MK2 braking system, as was asked
'Are the connections Male to Female or Female to Female?'
Any ideas?
