handbrake

hi everyone

is there a top tip for slotting handbrake cables i carn't get the buggers   to come up to meet the lever they just slip under the little bracket  :dontknow:

the cables are the correct size just carn't get them up to meet the lever to connect with the u shape bracket

hope this helps the white line is how the cables line up under the bracket the red line is were i need them to go Photo Storage any suggestions on how to get the ends up without damaging the threads

Oh i see what you mean , get a helper and slide each cable in turn slowly from underneath the car   while the helper guides the threaded part in to position on the bracket . Slip the nuts on and adjust .
