GTI vented disc conversion on 1.1
brakes on early Golfs as we all know aint the best but the single skin discs have really bad fade so im looking to get biggier discs and calipers from ebc for the GTI but just wondering if its alot of work for very little gain / well worth doing but hard work or whether its easier than you would think.
if any1 got any ideas id love to hear them.
cheers

im reading up on supercharger physcs right now and learning the best practice for installations.
i wanted it to be unique and keep the orignial engine you see.
any1 can put a GTI or and G40/G60 in a mk1.
also like i said i get really bad brake fade under hard braking with the none vented discs i have as standard.

The hub carriers are the same, so its a bolt on job, you'll need (all from Mk1 GTI):
239x20mm vented discs
caliper carriers
calipers
pads
maybe hoses? (IDK if they're same or different)
erm so long as you have the later style calipers you only need the gti discs and the skinnier gti pads…. the calipers are the same,
also think hard about the pad material and the fluid you use as this will effect the fade.
