Gti Brakes?

Hey all,

Yet another question. My Mk1 cabby's brakes are, well, shocking.

I have read about people upgrading the brakes and replacing them for differant ones (e.g corrado ones (I think?)) on the front. As for the rear ones, is it possible to fit wheel hubs and discs from a mk2 golf GTi?

Does anyone have any ideas about what works best bearing in mind I dont want to brake the bank :)

many thanks
Steve

First I'd upgrade the servo and master cylinder. You'll be surprised at the difference :) read through the guide on the left hand side.

There's some good info in those links, I've read a few times on brakes. The 16v servo m/c is a good upgrade providing your pin at back of Clevis isn't rusted in like mine was it's simple.
