thats a good question…..

Assuming RHD, they never did a RHD with power steering. If its LHD, you could obtain a Mk1 Golf one and add a power steering pump, etc, in theory.

down the gym is the best way bud.

you can get one fitted for about a grand 8O  last time i inquired, think it was Tim Styles Racing, mind you that was about 5 years ago

Have a look into electric power steering EPS, it might be easier way to go as the way i understand it you don't need to change the rack. A lot of people are using it in various cars racing and there a few fitting it to bay window campers. They seem to be using vauxhall corsa parts.
