Gearbox Selector Rods HELP!

Hi,

Ive paired a 1.8 scirocco AUTO EX engine with a Mk2 020 gearbox and im struggling to get 1st and 5th gear.

Do i need the rods for the mk2? Or something different?

If anyone can help or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Your linkages are correct, they just need to be adjusted.

Scroll to the 3rd page, bottom diagrams, tells you exactly what needs to be done : )

make sure the linkages you got were mk1 1.5-1.8 5 speed ones, the 4 speed linkages are a little bit different
