gear linkage

hi,

im thinkin about fitting a 1800cc citi engine in my mk1 golf and a gti 5 speed gear box but would what linkage would i need? would a gti linkage work ?

Yes but you wil also need to change the steering rack for one with the correct brackets . Would be better to get 2nd hand all the gear linkage [try crazyquiff or scouse on here ] and buy a new GSF rack with the brackets already fitted [about ?45.00] .

The rest should be easy enough as carb models do not have the complexity of the injection models . You could also PM tomo320 on here for any more advice as he runs Citi models daily and may give more sound advice .

its paul (tomo) who im buyin the engine from lol    but he doesnt have  a linkage thats all
