gear box oil leak help !!!!

gear box oil leak
I pulled my mk1 out earlier on a there was a big puddle of
gearbox oil on the floor what could this be
ta al

is it gearbox oil or engine oil ? most probably its your crankshaft oil seal inside the gearbox .. means gearbox, clutch and flywheel off to get at it ..

Yeah sounds like the rear main oil seal, good bit of info here: 020seal
