Front wheel bearing wont budge....

Been trying to replace the wheel bearing today, i've taken the cir clip of the inside of hub then tried to press it out. But to no avail. The cir clip was rusted in badly but all is out now.

I've soaked it all in copious amounts of wd40, i've tried hitting it on the bearing to try and shock it but still nothing.

Any ideas ion how else to get it out, without damaging the the outer sleeve that the drive shaft slides into ??

(This is a pic a nicked from the internets… Top cir clip is out, i've tried pressing the bearing out from above) Any tips

You need about 10 tonne of pressure to press it out.
Take the hub to a local garage, they will press it out and in for beer tokens !!

Its years since I've done a front bearing but think you'll a bearing puller to get part of it out, when the bearing breaks up. If I was doing it again I think would also get a garage/workshop to swap the bearing itself but do all the rest myself, removing hub from car etc.

I have my own press !! I think I'm  gonna smash the inner race out which maybe/hopefully release a bit of pressure on the outer race..??

i successfully removed mine by taking out the balls etc then finding a socket that fits on to the race part and hitting the socket with heavy hammer but dont belt it and it came out nicely. no press needed. then use the old race to knock the new one back in. job done
