Front suspension bottoms out.

Can anyone help please? My wife has an '89 Cabby and if it is driven at any speed over bumps or dips in the road, the suspension bottoms out with a God almighty bang.  The car has not always done this. It first started after we had the shockers changed by Kwik Fit. Thinking that they may have fitted the wrong ones we had them replaced but the problem persists. The suspension set up is totally original even down to 14" Snowflakes. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

you need some fiat ones like i fit to many mk1 golfs, there hars sponge instead of rubber, they work a treat, order some for a 05 plate fiat panda, remove the white plastic bits and fit them to the shocker

if it hasnt been lowered then no need to fit different bump stops, just the correct originals

Thanks for the advice. Bump stops now fitted and the problem has gone away. Looks like they got left off after Kwik Fit replaced the shocks.
