Front suspension what thread top nut

Hello all just wondering what thread it is on the front strut I need a castle nut to hold my bearing on but unsure what thread it is I think it's m12x1.5

Ok cheers are all the castle nuts the same if there m14?

as long as the thread is m14x1.5 then it'll fit fine

any reason why you arnt going to use new oem self-locking nuts?

Yes I'm using mk1 golf coilovers on my mk2f polo

Just been vw the man at the desk didnt know what I was after, but managed to order a pair he only said m14 so I will just test and hopefully there the same pitch

ah ok, you're after a replacement for the 'threaded bush' right? if so the mk2 golf threaded bush might be what you want as its M14x1.5, and i assume similar to polo item

Yes that's what I went to try but they don't sell them anymore but been as you gave me a link I'm going to get them and leave the others at vw there £11 for the pair
