The bar attaches to the flat horizontal bit (running left to right) with two brackets. These take the rubber mounts for the bar. The brackets attach by hooking round the horizontal bit of the beam and are secured by bolts that pass through the beam.
The ends of the anti roll bar attach to the 'legs' of the beam with U shaped brackets. These wrap round the rubber mounts that need to go on the end of the bar. The U brackets are then 'closed-up' by tapered clips that need to be tapped on with a hammer.
Kind of hard to describe but suffice to say you'll need 4 brackets ! Might get them off a Scirocco (?) Not sure if they're the same or not. If using 2nd hand bits you'll probably have to cut the old clips off the U brackets and buy new from VW
You'll also have to drill your beam for the mountings on the horizontal bar. I had to do this on a replacement (non Gti) beam I got for my Gti. The beams are the same except for the ARB mounting holes. I had my old beam to measure up from - sorry I can't remember where you need to drill the holes (!)
Good luck with it,

Check the suspension and steering section theres a good selection of pictures thats show how it fits . You will need some more bits and bobs as you will see and may have to drill some holes in the rear beam axle . I am certain "crazyquiff" will have the brackets you are missing , you can use the old mounting rubbers or buy new from VW as they are still stocked but are expensive ….
Edit -i posted this before i saw m6m62 post hope both posts of help …Chudd…
Scirroco has the same rear beam axle so it might be better to search the scrappers for the complete rear axle with it all on , mine was from a G reg scirroco and cost ?20.00 for the whole axle .
