fitting alloys

hi everyone,
does anyone no if you can fit 17s on a 92 cabriolet without arch work, ive aquired a set with 205,45,17 and on first attempt they rubbed like crazy, replaced the front forks for direct replacement and its made the care higher slightly, just wandered if a change of tire size would get them on there.be a shame to see them go to waist
cheers chris

Seen a few cars running 17s but not sure they look or ride as well as the more practical 15s or even 16s. It can be done mate down to personal choice.

Do a search, you'll find some info on here for sure.

No chance without archwork.

And even then I'd put money on it rubbing on the inside.

Standard wheels look okay don't they? What is it, a rivage or a sportline, or something else?

There's about 100 different "special editions" though - and loads of different (standard) alloys over the years and models, including some nice 15" ones!!!!!!!
