Will an 02A G/B fit on an AGU or similar alright?

I've got a question.
I have Golf MK1 JGL with 1.3 carb engine.
Should I install anti roll bars on the front and rear axel from golf mk1 gti?
Should I expect some improvements?

yeh will do, might be a while cos i havnt got any of the brackets and am waiting till i can afford poly bushes before i fit them
