Looking at changing suspension strutsbsoon, what is the mounting differences between early and late mk1's? Can you simply bolt on replacement struts or are they different? :dontknow:  I have the opportunity of some Koni's of an early mk1 but I have a 1991 clipper. Any advice soonest would be great. :dontknow:

hello :)

They should be a straight swap :)

Do it once and do it right! ok, we've identified the problem, lets not make it worse by guessing……… Identifying the sympton is not the same as understanding the cause :)

not quite! the spring plates changed over the years just fyi. o you need to make sure the shocks come with these or the plates from your old shocks may not fit.

i found this out the hard way on my mk1 cab, bought some NOS rear shocks but my old lower plates didnt fit, etka was so confusing in the end i gave up and bought another set with the lower plates included
