E30 servo and m/cylinder

With 16v servos and m/c getting harder to find i was thinking about the E30 units as they are readily available, checked with the local spares center and they are slightly bigger than the 16v at 22.6mm so should be good. anybody done it?

Could also try a SEAT Cordoba Setup.

From what i can tell its same as the 16v ones. I got this setup but went with a AUDI 80 (i think) MC as i had it around. Down side is its 4 port so you will need to T piece the brake light sensors in, or fit up a MK2 brake pedal switch.

SEAT Cordoba Booster, Audi Master Cylinder, Nissan Pulsar N13 (i think, or N14) Fluid Reservoir .
The shaft at the rear has to have the ball cut off and the shaft have a thread cut onto it so you can take the Yoke off the Mk1 One, and bolt onto new one. Or you could weld it, but the thread means you can adjust it if you got it wrong

the 22mm mk2 16v mc isnt hard to find at all, they were still being used on the 2000 SEAT Ibiza.  servo can be had from 1.8 mk2 golf, even non-gti. also passats and corrados.

can use MK3 23mm abs master cylinders also, just need to get some brake line adaptrors made up as the fittings are larger. Audi S3 mc is 24mm iirc and a direct fity with oem pipes and mk1/2 servo

WHAT ABOUT CORRADO IS THAT THE SAME AS MK2 GOLF AS I GOT ONE OF THEM?

servo yes as per my post above, mc the non-abs ones are the same as the 22mm one on the mk2 16v/g60. abs ones may be different but there were several abs systems over the years.  if you look at the mc it will have 20, 22 or 23 etc stamped on it, this will tell you what it is. then just check to see if your brake pipes fit.

thanks for the replys guys ive also been told by a BMW E30 nutter that i know pritty well that they are all moving to renault clio servo's as they better as they are a duel diaphram servo  :dontknow: anybody tried this?
