Driveshafts/CV joints CAN ANYONE HELP
hi guys can anyone help,
not sure what i need to buy ops: ops:
seems to be cv joint at the gear box side, N/S. that has gone
is this part available seperate or do you have to buy the drive shaft??

You can buy CV joints separately. In fact, its the best way. Messy job to do unless you have a box of rubber gloves, plenty of blue roll and a degrease gun - then its a simple job! Normally don't need to replace the whole joint, its normally the boots that split and if detected in time, you can take it all apart, clean up the joint, regrease and replace the boot and it "saves" the joint. I guess yours was split for a while (like, years) and eventually went pop.
The inner CVJ boot is pass & advise, outer boot is an MoT fail if split.

its the joint at the gear box side,
cant seem to find the joint seperate,
it looks like its part of the drive shaft, i can find the outer cv joints at the wheel hub.
on GSF and euro car parts.
