Driveshaft Nut Size please

As the title suggest, can anyone tell me what size the driveshaft bolt is, I seem to think its about 32mm but not 100%

Need to remove it to remove my front wheel hub as the front wheel bearing has gone.  I dont have a large enough socket so hoping Halfords or similar will be open tomorrow?????

Cheers

For some reason 32mm springs to mind, but I'm not 100%

I'm fairly confident (again not 100%) that it's 32mm.

A pair of vernier calipers is always handy for this sort of thing, and for all things engineering related - if Halfords don't do a cheap set then try Farnell

if i remember from memory its a 30mm nut on the hub as 32mm hub nuts are usually on escorts

Congratulations Pupup1!

The nut was 30mm, pleased to find it wasnt my wheel bearing after all, went to undo the nut and it was little over finger tight!!!!

Got a good 3/4 turn on it and the wobble has gone, apart from a nit of play in the ball joint!
