Drive Flange Oil Seals

Ive fitted and got running a early Mk2 Scirroco engine and box in my Mk1 Golf, but the driveshaft flanges are bigger, easy, get the smaller flanges (thanx Storm), different oil seals, ordered the oil seals and green cups the seals fit in, right oil seal for the flanges wrong cup, same as the Mk2 one too big. So out of frustration i took out the flanges from my old box FD28091, Different again, these flanges are the smaller type but have an extra step machined into them for the oil seal, all i want to do is get the car back.

I sussed it, the flanges i got off Storm were of the early type, i think where they use no green cup pressed into the box, and no spring between box and flange, the ones out of my original box use the same green cups and oil seals as the Mk2 ones So atleast its off the ramps now, but i dunno for how long.
