dismantling car - brake connecting rods etc

as the title says really, im taking my car apart to paint it and iv got the engine out etc, im just left with the brake master cylinder and servo, then all the connecting bars and things across the bulkhead. so im wondering how to go about taking all this off

dissconnect the rod that attaches to the brake pedal(inside the car), then undo the bolts that connect the linkage to the bulk head, you need to go up under the dash i think. and undo the copper brake lines from the master cylinder
