Different boltsizes for rear stub axle?

Hello guys,

I could use some help since VW wasn't able to give be a clear answer  8O . The rear suspension on the GTI is going to be renewed so I am going through ETKA to see what parts I need. So far so good. But I have a problem with the bolts that hold the brake plate and stub axle to the rear beam. Apparently there are 2 versions

On the rear suspension page (illustration 106-00):
N 907 589 01 Hexagon head bolt (combi) M10x32
321 501 119 A concave spring washer

But when I look on the rear brake page (illustration 108-00):
N 903 698 01 hexagon bolt M10x24,5
N 012 011 3 Spring ring

Does anyone know which is the correct one? The old bolts were 24,5, but since they came off so easily I wondered if they are perhaps not the right type.

I'm assuming that the 32 ands 24.5 are the length in mm of the M10 bolts? They don't sound like the thread pitch.

If so you need some M10 bolts that hold the plate and stub axle on to rear beam with just a bit poking out of the other end.

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

Thanks for the reply.
Correct, it is the length. Guess I'll just fit the same type as the ones that came out. Still odd that there are 2 sizes in ETKA though.

Hm...and what length is the correct one? I find it out - m10x32

Since it's been bloody cold I haven't installed everything yet, but I have decided to go for the 24,5mm ones. The head on the 32mm bolts is slightly bigger so I can't get a socket on it. On the bolts which also hold the brake cable guide I won't add the extra washer because then they really are too short. But the guide itself is concave, so I guess that will act as a washer.
