CV joint

Hi all,

I've got a horrible knocking coming from my FR corner, which sounds worse on cornering, I believe it's the CV joint but am unsure how to tell if it's the inner or outer that needs replacing, any suggestions how I can tell?

Find a car park and turn to full lock and drive around in a circle if the noise is still there is an outer CV joint, sounds like a clicking when driving, you don't have to drive fast to hear the noise.
I think its left turn is righthand outer CV joint, right turn is left hand side outer CV joint is gone.

If its a random knocking noise could be suspention related.
