crashed!!!!!!!!!

omg , mk1 1.3 driver , turning into a junction , black ice braked , slid , hit the kurb , quiet badly, and the wheels gone right back and rubs off the back of the arch, instead of the wheel been centered , its towards the back of the car , not happy , is it fixable?
devistated was doing 5mph , grrrrrrrr

you need to look under it to see what you have bent, but with a lack of subframe on the mk1 i suspect it will be a bent shell, in which case it would need jigging back straight if poss (its might be too bent to be jigged safely)

With a bit of luck you've just bent the wishbone. If that's all, then count yourself lucky and fit a lower brace for next time.

Have to agree with yeha… it's probably not as bad as you first think… have you had a look to see if the wishbone is bent… hub brackets bent etc?

aye if you have been luck it will just be a wichbone etc, but worst case if you have hit it just wrong and instead of a bent arm its etc aslo done the shell,

wishbone done it in the cabby but thats a secret and we will not discuss that mis adventure

really hope its the wishbone the cars in the garage now havnt herd back, its a mint example aswell so would be a incredible shame for it to be the shell etc …. thnks for the reasureance lol …
